Heartscope Specialist Group is seeking to employ a Medical Technician who possess a strong work ethic, commitment to quality, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and respond to change to work in our busy practice. Travelling to all south-eastern suburb sites like Dandenong and Pakenham is essential.

Locations: Wheelers Hill, Dandenong, Pakenham, Mooroolbark (adhoc), Balaclava (adhoc)

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours weekly

Responsibilities and Duties

Day to day your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Performing ECG Holters, BP monitors, ECGs, Sleep-studies (Home-based) and Lung Function tests on patients
• Reception duties such as handling phone calls, booking/confirming appointments, downloading and programming monitors as required
• Other general administration tasks as may be required

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role you will need to possess:

• A nursing/medical/science background – recent graduates welcome
• Experience in a similar setting is advantageous
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
• Ability to perform basic administration tasks such as data entry
• The ability to communicate with patients from all types of backgrounds
• Excellent oral, written, communication & typing skills
• A current driver’s license is essential
• Pleasant, positive and caring attitude
• A high standard of work ethic – self-motivated, pro-active, takes pride in work
• Able to work well independently, but also as part of a team

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $27.03 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
