Our tests

Four cardiac tests performed in your clinic

Heartscope staff perform or fit each test in your rooms, and specialists report on the results.

Echocardiogram

A cardiac sonographer uses ultrasound to assess the heart's chambers, valves and pumping function.

About the test

ECG

Adhesive electrodes on the chest record the heart's rhythm and electrical activity at rest. The test takes a few minutes.

About the test

24 Hour ECG Holter Monitor

A portable recorder monitors the heart's rhythm for 24 hours while the patient continues their usual activities.

About the test

24 Hour BP Monitor

An arm cuff measures blood pressure automatically at set intervals over 24 hours, including overnight.

About the test

Patients need a referral from their doctor for each test, as with any Heartscope test.

We offer sleep and respiratory services too

Sleepscope, our sister service, provides lung function tests and home based sleep studies in GP clinics in the same way. You can ask about both in one enquiry.
