About Dr Ai Vee Ng

Dr Ai Vee Ng is a cardiologist working in general cardiology and across all areas of echocardiography. She completed a cardiac imaging fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, specialising in stress, transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography. Her special interests are cardiac imaging, especially echocardiography, and clinical research.

Dr Ng's physician and cardiology training was in Adelaide. She did her basic physician training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and her advanced training in cardiology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Her background is in non-invasive imaging. After General Echocardiography Fellowships at the National Heart Centre in 2011 and the Royal Melbourne Hospital in 2012, she went on to complete an Echo Research Fellowship in the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
