About Dr Arunavo Chatterji

Dr Arunavo Chatterji, known as Arun, is a clinical cardiologist who also specialises in cardiac imaging. He works with all forms of echocardiography, including transthoracic and stress echocardiography, and is accredited to report cardiac CT scans and CT coronary angiograms.

Dr Chatterji has special interests in the investigation of chest pain, cardiovascular risk assessment, heart failure and heart valve disease, and in preventive and clinical cardiology.

After graduating with honours, he undertook postgraduate training in general medicine and clinical cardiology at the North Deanery in Edinburgh.

Dr Chatterji practises as a physician and cardiologist, and is Director of Medicine at Griffith Base Hospital in New South Wales. He has also been involved in clinical research and teaching as a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and Charles Sturt University.
