About Dr Ravi Iyer

Dr Ravi Iyer is an interventional cardiologist. He performs a range of procedures, including coronary angiograms, coronary angioplasty and stenting, and the implantation of pacemakers and other devices. Structural heart procedures and diagnostic non-coronary work are also part of his practice, along with general cardiology.

After earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly the University of Pune) in India, Dr Iyer trained in cardiac electrophysiology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He later received cardiac training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

His interventional work is carried out at five hospitals: Valley Private Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Melbourne Private Hospital, Epworth Hospital and Western Hospital.
